If you searched "dry shampoo" and ended up here, welcome — and let's clear something up before you go any further.

Less is More is not a dry shampoo. It's a powder shampoo. The "dry" part is real. What it does with that dryness is completely different.
What dry shampoo actually is
Dry shampoo is a touch-up. You spray or dust it onto your roots between washes, it soaks up excess oil, and you don't add water or rinse anything out. It buys you another day before your next real wash — it doesn't replace one.
What Less is More actually is
Less is More ships as a concentrated powder. It's dry in the packet, but that's where the similarity ends: you add water at home, it turns into a full, lathering shampoo, and you rinse it out just like you would with a bottle off the shelf. It replaces your everyday liquid shampoo — not the dry shampoo in your gym bag.

But why is it a powder in the first place?
Because most of what's in a bottle of liquid shampoo is water — the kind you already have at home. Shipping that water adds weight and volume for no real reason, so we ship the concentrated part instead and let you add the water yourself, right before you use it. Once it's mixed, it behaves exactly like the liquid shampoo you're used to — it just didn't travel as one.

Why the mix-up happens
Fair question, honestly. "Powder" and "dry" are two words that do a lot of work in the dry-shampoo world, so it's an easy assumption to make before you've read further. We don't mind the mix-up — we'd just rather you have the right product for what you actually need, which is why we're saying all this plainly instead of hoping you figure it out at the sink.
If you're here because you're tired of dry shampoo
That's a different, and fair, reason to be curious about us. We're not a substitute for your between-wash touch-up — nothing here absorbs oil at the roots without water. But if part of what you don't love about your routine is a heavy bottle of liquid shampoo, or hauling full-size bottles when you travel, that's the actual problem this format was built to solve: a full wash, without shipping the water your regular bottle is mostly made of.
