indulge in sensual harmony

osmanthus
Osmanthus (osmanthus fragrans), also known as fragrant olive, is a flowering plant that is native to Asia. Its scent is highly fragrant, with a complex creamy, velvety and fruity character, reminiscent of stone fruit such as apricots and peaches.

jasmine
Jasmine is a flowering shrub and vine that belongs to the olive family with a strong and exotic scent that is made up from over 259 molecules - it is one of the most complex floral scents in perfumery. Our jasmine absolute is responsibly sourced from the jasminum grandiflorum plant, growing in Egypt.

osmanthus + jasmine
the extraction of our essential oils
osmanthus
The small and white yellow osmanthus flowers are harvested when they bloom in the autumn and the absolute* is obtained through solvent extraction.
jasmine
The jasmine flowers are handpicked from July to November by a network of independent farmers in the Nile delta, and the absolute* is obtained through volatile solvents.
*Absolute oils are a more concentrated substance, also derived from plant material but through a different extraction method (solvent extraction). Absolute oils are stronger in scent, have a thicker consistency, and have an amber like color, whereas essential oils have a lighter scent, watery consistency, and a light, clear color. As a result of their stronger scent, absolutes are commonly used in perfumery.
